Boss Vic Del Rosario reveals the relationship now of Sarah Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli with Mommy Divine.
SARAH GERONIMO – Roughly two years after the secret wedding, Sarah Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli’s issues versus Mommy Divine remain unresolved.
The secret wedding of AshMatt – Sarah Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli – came as a big controversy to the public because of the “Divine Intervention” and tension that blew up during the reception. It turned that Mommy Divine, the Popstar’s mother, was not informed about the wedding and went in rage to the venue of the reception. This caused conflict and misunderstanding between the married couple and Mommy Divine.
During the first wedding anniversary of the couple, they went to Palawan to celebrate it. And now, roughly two years after the highly-publicized family issue, it seems like Sarah and Matteo are still not on good terms with Mommy Divine. Boss Vic Del Rosario, in his recent interview, opened up about this and revealed the role he played in the limbo. He was personally present when the intense encounter happened.
Accordingly, Sarah and Matteo got his support when they decided to elope and get married in secret. He’s seen Sarah is in love and happy and in a rare chance, he supported them. He knows that they love each other and are already at the right age. According to him, he usually sides with Mommy Divine when it comes to managing Sarah’s personal matters. But at that time, it was different.
“Pero nung dumating yung time na si Sarah na-in love kay Matteo, and then ayaw pa rin siyempre ng pamilya [ni Sarah], eventually, I took the side of Sarah. Siyempre, sumama yung loob sa akin ng pamilya,” he said.
VIVA’s big boss then added, “Tingin ko, nasa tamang edad, kaya nung nag-asawa siya, sinuportahan ko siya. And up to now, sinusuportahan ko. Pero siyempre, may problema pa rin sila ng kanyang ano… But I think she’s very happy now.”
Meanwhile, after witnessing the “great awayan”, Boss Vic is hopeful that both parties will eventually settle the issues one day and finally find peace. He expressed based on PEP’s report, “Pero sana maayos. Hindi pa siya ayos, pero sana maayos sila.”
And so far, he can see that what the couple did back then brought them happiness. He can see that they are happy with their decision despite the unfortunate events.
