MICHELLE MADRIGAL – Former actress Michelle Madrigal shares one reason behind her separation from her husband Troy Woolfolk.
In a previous article, former ABS-CBN star Michelle Madrigal revealed that she and her husband Troy Woolfolk are getting a divorce two years after tying the knot. He is a former football player and they met through an online dating app. Her husband also confirmed the news to those who are asking why they are no longer posting about each other on social media.
And in a life update vlog, the former actress turned fitness trainer gave an update about their divorce. According to her, they are still navigating their path to a co-parenting situation. And despite being separated, they remained to stay in the same house, for now, but one day, she’s certain that either one of them will move out. And in moving out, what she is most concerned about is the adjustment period for their daughter.
In the same vlog, although she did not disclose the “nitty-gritty detail”, she confessed that the separation was a mutual decision. And reflecting on what led to their breakup, she spoke about the lack of compatibility. This is accordingly one of the reasons why they separated. Their marriage did not work out because they are not compatible.
She said, “If you guys know our story, everything was expedited within six months of dating. We had a baby and all of that. Huge transition, right? I moved to another country with no family. I was in love.”
It was just later on that she realized chemistry is never enough to keep them together and make their relationship work. Despite everything that ended in divorce, she stressed that she had no regrets. She had no regrets because their love brought four-year-old daughter Anika into their lives.
“I was blessed with my amazing daughter. We are blessed with Anika and it changed our lives. But again, the compatibility, the core values—these are the things you guys need to look for if you’re going to marry someone or even if you’re going to date someone long-term, right?” she expressed. She also clarified that there’s no third party involved.
