MICHELLE MADRIGAL – Former ABS-CBN star Michelle Madrigal reveals getting a divorce from marriage with husband Troy Woolfolk.
Last 2019, ex-actress Michelle Madrigal exchanged wedding vows with her American partner, Troy Woolfolk, in Austin, Texas. They have a daughter named Anika who they welcomed last 2017. They got engaged two months after she announced that she is pregnant but two years after the wedding, she and her husband decided to separate.
To recall, she met the former football player through an online dating app. They admitted that they made up a lie before as to how they met. They talked about this story about the meeting in a park but the truth is that they saw each other first on Tinder. They did swipe right and that’s how it all started.
But just recently, in an Instagram post of Michelle, she revealed that they are getting a divorce. They got separated and although unfortunate things happened in their marriage, they remained friends and worked on a co-parenting relationship for their daughter Anika.
As per Michelle’s post, there have been a number of queries about them and some wondered why they don’t have photos online together anymore. And that’s the reason, they got separated after two years of marriage. She just thought that it’s just right to let people know the truth because they have always been transparent about their lives.
She then added towards the end of her post, “We hope that y’all can give us the space and respect with our decision. We thank y’all for all the love and support you have given The Woolfolk family. We will always have love for each other and cherish the good times rather than the bad ones.”
On the other hand, Troy addressed the “intrusive” questions online and confirmed that they have indeed separated just to answer the questions. They are cool and there has been no drama between following their decision. He expressed that he will always love her because she’s the mother of her daughter and would still continue to love her family like his own.
