Another Landslide in Talisay City, Cebu Disables Road Access for Motorcycle Riders and Vehicle Drivers

On Monday morning (November 15, 2021), the Facebook page “City of Talisay Traffic Operation and Development Authority (CT-TODA)” has shared the video of another landslide at Camp 5, Talisay City.
In the video, it can be seen that huge sizes of rocks and soils started to fall from a mountain side due to a landslide. The incident covered the road with rocks and stones that disabled the access for vehicles.
CT-TODA chief Jonathan Tumulak instructed the motorists and vehicle drivers to avoid passing by the Talisay-Toledo Wharf Access Road and find an alternative route for the meantime.
Tumulak said that the personnel of the Department of Public Works and Highways are conducting clearing operations at the area to remove the road obstacle. The authorities are doing their best to restore the road access as soon as possible.
