Sara Duterte Running For President Says Salceda

Sara Duterte Running For President According To Albay Rep. Salceda

SARA DUTERTE – Davao City Mayor Sarah Duterte-Carpio could be running for President in the 2022 elections.

This, according to Albay 2nd District Rep. Joey Salceda. The District Rep claimed to have talked with Sara “before everything went down”. Based on an article from ABS-CBN, he said: “There’s no VP option for her, and picking a VP for her is not a problem“.

However, there was clamour about a Bongbong Marcos, Sara Duterte tandem. Previously, Sarah and BBM met in Cebu City “coincidentally” on separate business occasions.

But, when asked regarding this, Salceda said that he wasn’t sure about the tandem. He emphasized that it’s “mere speculation”. Furthermore, he stressed that the Davao City Mayor, much like her father, would run for president.

I cannot say confirming but based on our long-running chats, kilometric chats–because I provided her with so many big data about her prospects– I think basically she will make a good president in the first place

Yesterday, Sara announced that she removed her certificate of candidacy for Davao City Mayor. And, her brother, Vice Mayor Sebastian “Baste” Duterte, withdrew his candidacy for reelection.

Along with all of this, Senator Bong Go tearfully said that his candidacy for Vice President may change. Meanwhile, most are speculating that Sara would become the VP for BBM as he had yet to announce his running mate.

As the 2022 elections are right around the corner, the public anxiously speculates on the candidates for the Presidential race. Although she was adamant about not running for President, Sara didn’t say anything regarding the Vice Presidential seat.
