Dad of Maltreated OFW in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia Seeks Help to Rescue Child From the Hands of Abusive Employer
The father of a maltreated OFW in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia is seeking help to rescue his child from its abusive employer.
Over the past few decades, numerous Overseas Filipino Workers have been filing complaints against their abusive employers. Some OFWs suffered abuse and maltreatment.
The Philippine government has been already taking actions to prevent such incidents. However, abuse still happens behind the knowledge of the authorities.
A certain man is seeking help from the authorities to rescue his OFW daughter from its abusive employer based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The man revealed that his child was allegedly maltreated by her employers.
The man said that it has been a month since they last talked. The Pinay migrant worker reportedly suffered physical abuse from the hands of her employers. The OFW was able to send her photos.
In the photos, it can be seen that the employee suffered hematoma and injuries in different parts of her bodies. The OFW was able to send photos to her family and friends as evidence.
The abusive employers alleged beat up and poured boiling water to the helpless employee. The heartless foreigners even confiscate the cellphone and passport of the domestic helper.

The employers also prevented the OFW from going back to the Philippines last February 2021.
The latter has reported the incident to the Philippine Embassy in Saudi Arabia and to the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration or OWWA.
