Grandma Goes Viral After Hiring Tutor to Learn Math So She Could Help Her Grandchildren w/ Their Modules
A grandma identified as Lola Merlita hired a tutor to learn Math subject so she could teach and help her grandchild with its learning module.
A Facebook user named Rodney Nicodemus has shared his photos while tutoring Lola Merlita in Math. The inspiring photos immediately spread like a wildfire online and garnered various reactions from the online community.

The 79-year-old Lola Merlita Militar hired teacher Rodney so she could learn the Math subject and personally teach her 11-year-old and four-year-old grandchildren. The grandma and her grandkids were living in Numancia, Aklan while their parents are working in Cebu.
The elderly lady is struggling to teach her grandchildren with their lessons in blended learning especially in Math. However, she is dedicated to learn because she did not finish her studies and she really want to her her own grandkids with their lessons.
Teacher Rodney is teaching Lola Merlita with subtraction of mixed numbers. He admires the dedication of the elderly woman to learn despite her old age.

“She approached me na kung puwedeng turuan ko raw siyang muli, this is the second time around na magpapaturo siya sa akin in Mathematics. So ang topic sa kanyang ipapaturo sa akin is subtraction of mixed number na kung saan hindi raw alam ng kanyang apo at hindi rin niya alam,” Nicodemus said.
