Man Arrested by Police Authorities in Cavite For Abusing His Own Niece
The police authorities arrested a man in Cavite for allegedly abusing his own niece who is a minor during that time.
The unnamed man has been arrested by cops in Cavite for allegedly molesting and abusing his own niece. The crime reportedly happened in 2017 and the victim was still 17 years old during the time of incident.
Since then, the suspect started to hide himself from the authorities to escape the crime. However, the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) personnel were able to locate and arrest him.
“Nakapag-file po ‘yung mga magulang (ng biktima) ng kaso noong April 2018 tapos nalabasan po ng warrant nitong May 2018, so yung suspect po, nagtago na ‘yan,” Deputy Provincial Officer of CIDG–Cavite Police Major Daniel Yemma said.
According to the CIDG, the suspect transferred to another place and hid his identity. Eventually, the man applied as a delivery rider after the case cooled down. The man has also denied the accusations against him.
The suspect also explained that he doesn’t have an idea regarding the case filed against him. “Pero warrant of arrest po ‘yan eh. Hindi naman po puwedeng sabihin na hindi niya alam,” Yemma reiterated.

The man refused to give a statement regarding the incident and the cops expressed their gratefulness towards the individuals who inform them regarding the suspect’s location.
Yemma also reported that 70 to 80 percent of PNP and CIDG Cavite’s operation becomes successful due to the public’s cooperation.
