PAGASA Says Fair Weather Expected in Luzon, VisMin to Experience Rainy Condition

PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Tuesday (November 2)

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the Luzon would have a fair weather while Visayas and Mindanao would experience rainy condition.

On Tuesday (November 2, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather updates in the country. The shear line or the tail end of a frontal system would affect the country’s weather condition.

The shear line would bring cloudy weather condition with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms Eastern, Central Visayas, Caraga, Northern Mindanao, Central and Eastern Visayas, and the provinces of Davao del Norte, Davao Oriental and Davao de Oro.

The localized thunderstorms/shear line would also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms over Western Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands and Occidental Mindoro.

Bicol Region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, and Romblon would also experience similar weather condition.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will experience fair weather but isolated rain showers are expected due to the effects of the northeast monsoon or Amihan.

“Sa araw na ito asahan ang generally maaliwalas na panahon sa buong Luzon, maliban na lang sa ilang pulo-pulong pag-ulan, Samantala, maulap, may mga pag-ulan at pagkidlat pagkulog sa isla ng Central Visayas, sa Northern Mindanao, Caraga, ganun din sa Davao del Norte, Davao Oriental and Davao de Oro,”Pagasa weather specialist Chris Perez said.

The weather agency also advised the residents in the affected areas for possible flash floods and landslides during moderate to at times heavy rains. PAGASA did not raise any gale warning in any parts of the country.
