Last November 2020, actress-vlogger Alex Gonzaga married politician-businessman Mikee Morada. Their wedding was so intimate and the ceremony was silent. It was roughly three months after tying the knot that they were able to announce it to the public. Alex was already open to motherhood but her first pregnancy did not turn out the way they have expected it to be.

Lolit Solis preempted their story about miscarriage and it was something Mikee did not like. He reacted to the post of Lolit and called her out for making a story that is not hers to tell. She was sharing a personal matter to the public that she should not and without knowing the whole narrative of it.

And just days after it, straight from Alex, she confirmed that they lost their first baby. She suffered a miscarriage two months after finding out that they are expecting because of anembryonic pregnancy. This condition happens when a young embryo never develops or stops developing. They were waiting for a miracle to happen, but it didn’t happen.

She encouraged people who have been through and been going through in the same phase as them to not lose hope and do not blame themselves because she believes “in the midst of this pain and loss the Lord will sustain you”. And just recently, sharing a photo with her husband caught the attention of many people.

It was a photo captured two days after they found out that their pregnancy is not developing anymore. Alex expressed, “still sad but we tried to smile.”
