JAIME FABREGAS – Veteran actor chastised Isko Moreno for being a Manila Mayor aiming for the highest position in the government, the President.
The veteran actor’s most recent Tweet has sparked debate and elicited a variety of responses from the internet community. Jaime sends a direct message to Manila Mayor Francisco Isko “Moreno” Domagaso, who is running for president in 2022.
He stated in his post that the mayor had lost his trustworthiness from the outset. It is believed that becoming president is inappropriate, but being mayor is, based on his post.
He even compares the presidential hopeful to President Rodrigo Duterte, who was also a mayor. Duterte was previously the mayor of Davao City and ran for the presidency in the 2016 election.
“Sa umpisa pa lang sinabi ko na na mahirap pagkatiwalaan si Isko! Parehong pareho sila ni Duterte! Utak-mayor, hindi pang-presidente,” he wrote.
He urged his fellow voters to think twice because not only an organization’s head but also the president of the Philippines, will be elected. The seasoned actor advises voters to do their homework and research before casting their ballots.
“Mag-isip-isip naman sana ang mga botante. Mag-aral, mag-research! Presidente ng Pilipinas ang iboboto natin!” he added.
