Former actress and socialite Gretchen Barretto shares her excitement in preparing for the wedding of her daughter Dominique Cojuangco.
Dominique, Greta’s daughter with longtime partner business tycoon Tonyboy Cojuangco, recently announced that she is now engaged to her longtime boyfriend Michael Hearn.
Many netizens congratulated the daughter of the popular couple for this new journey in her life. Although Dominique is not technically in showbiz, she still has a celebrity status because of her mother.
When she announced this new chapter in her life, Dominique received a reaction from her mother Gretchen Barretto commented with a heart emoji while her aunt Claudine Barretto said that she is happy for her.
In a recent IG post of La Greta, she showcased her beautiful OOTD (outfit of the day) but her caption was saying what is keeping her busy right now. She said that she started preparing for the wedding of her unica hija.
The former actress said that she never expected that this would come. “Soon to be the Mum in law of @mj.hearn who would have thought i will be planning my daughter @dominique wedding at age 51,” she wrote.
As a first-timer for this kind of event, Gretchen said that she does not know where to start. “Tony has reminded me multiple times to allow our child to enjoy the process of planning,” she added.
This post of Gretchen Barretto received a comment from her daughter. Dominique Cojuangco apparently was happy about the caption that her mother wrote. “I love you! Omg your caption [zany face emoji],” the soon-to-be bride commented.
Meanwhile, the previous social media posts of La Greta that featured Tonyboy went viral on social media. In the videos, the couple had a fun conversation with their friends.
