Alex Gonzaga and Mikee Morado had an unsuccessful first pregnancy
Lipa City councilor Mikee Morada shared his realization after his wife actress-host-YouTube star Alex Gonzaga had a miscarriage.
Rumors about this unfortunate event in the life of the couple started to circulate due to the write-up that veteran showbiz writer-talent manager Lolit Solis released. Because of this, Mikee called out the writer and said that this sensitive issue should not be the topic of “made up” stories. In her writeup, Lolit said that Alex might reveal this news in her vlog just like it is part of the business.
This did not sit well with Mikee and later on, Lolit apologized. In a recent Instagram post of Alex Gonzaga, she confirmed that she had a miscarriage. The Lunch Out Loud host shared that two months ago they found out that she was pregnant but the problem was brought up to them three weeks ago. “We got a heartbreaking news that we might be having an anembryonic pregnancy (blighted ovum),” she shared and the doctor told them to “wait for the process to naturally take its course.”
On October 12, they bid goodbye to their supposed first baby. Mikee Morada shared the Facebook post of his wife about this with his realization after this heartbreaking event happened in their lives.
“May mga pinapangarap at hinahangad tayo na ibibigay sa atin ng Panginoon sa panahon na alam Niyang mas para sa atin,” he said. He added that at times, questions will arise but faith somehow prevails.
Although their first attempt to have a baby did not succeed, Mikee said that the pregnancy of his wife was a blessing and a fun experience. “Sa maiksing panahon hinanda Niya kami para sa susunod. Lalong tumibay ang aming samahan bilang magasawa,” the husband of Alex Gonzaga said.
