Is it true that Karla Estrada will join politics?
Rumor has it that actress-host Karla Estrada will be joining politics and she is set to make a formal announcement about this.
Karla has been in the entertainment industry since her teen years. Now, she is considered to be the Queen Mother because of the star status of her son Daniel Padilla. In the documentary for the 10th anniversary of KathNiel, Daniel’s love team with Kathryn Bernardo, Karla said that she is proud to be called as the mother of her son.
Just recently, it is rumored that the actress-host is set to embark on a new journey. The Magandang Buhay host shared teasers on her Instagram account about her “new home”. Different speculations surfaced about this. In a recent article by entertainment columnist Jun Lalin in Abante, indeed rumors are circulating that Karla Estrada will enter the world of public service.
Lalin shared that someone he knew said that the actress-host is set to file her certificate of candidacy and so he sent a Viber message to her. “Sabi ng ‘Magandang Buhay’ host, ngayon daw siya mag-a-announce ng tungkol doon. Party-list mula sa Tacloban o Region 8 ang posisyon na tatakbuhan ni Karla,” the columnist shared.
Lalin added that since 2019, rumors have been circulating saying that the actress-host will join politics. The speculations was prompted by the fact that Karla went home to Tacloban several times that year. Several episodes of Magandang Buhay were also held in Tacloban City. However, in 2019, the plan to enter politics did not push through.
The entertainment columnist also asked Karla Estrada if she will resign from her morning talk show with Jolina Magdangal and Melai Cantiveros. She said that she is not resigning but will have her vacation.
