Senator Manny Pacquiao showed his gratitude to his wife Jinkee Pacquiao through his recent post on Instagram.
The politician, who recently announced his retirement from boxing, is set to take a new journey in his political career. Pacquiao is among the first politicians who filed the certificate of candidacy for the 2022 elections. He is aiming for the highest position in the Philippine government.
During his filing of COC, Jinkee was also there to show her support. When the lawmaker announced his presidential candidacy, his wife also shared a post showing 100 percent support for this new endeavor.
This time, it was Manny Pacquiao who shared a post about his wife. He said that Jinkee never left his side in whatever battle he went through. “We have been married for more than 20 years, you have never left my side. Sa lahat ng laban ko, sa loob man ng ring o sa pagharap sa pagsubok ng buhay, ikaw ang naging kasama ko at kaagapay,” Pacquiao said.
The boxer-turned-politician said that his presidential candidacy is the biggest fight that he will have in his life and his wife is someone that he wants by his side. He called Jinkee as his “inspiration” and “strength”.
Manny Pacquiao admitted that this fight will not be an easy one. However, he is thankful that he will be able to bear anything with the help of his wife. “Thanks to you, @jinkeepacquiao, alam kong kakayanin ko ang lahat , lalo na ang makapaglingkod sa bansa at iahon ang ating mga kababayan sa kahirapan,” he said.
Pacquaio’s running mate is former Manila Mayor and House Deputy Speaker Lito Atienza.
