Filipino boxing legend Manny Pacquiao is one of the most decorated boxers to compete in the sport. He is the only eight-division world champion in history and the oldest welterweight champion of all time.

The 42-year-old boxer really did bring a lot of honor to the Philippines. His fights have always been much-awaited. He has won 12 major titles.

Previously, Manny Pacquiao revealed that his family wants him to retire from boxing because he has nothing more to prove in the ring. For more than 2 decades, he impressed the world by beating some of the best boxers in different weight divisions.

On Tuesday night, the fighting senator announced his retirement from the ring through a video uploaded to his social media pages. He said, “Goodbye, boxing.” Pacman expressed his gratitude to the world most especially his countrymen.

“Thank you for changing my life, when my family was desperate, you gave us hope, you gave me the chance to fight my way out of poverty…”

“Because of you, I was able to inspire people all over the world. Because of you, I have been given the courage to change more lives.”

After watching the video, Jinkee Pacquiao took to her Instagram account to post a loving message for her husband Manny Pacquiao. She told him that no matter what happens, she and the rest of their family will always be on his side.

The socialite said that watching the video made her recall each and every one of Pacman’s fights. She also said that she would always worry if his opponents were too big for him. Among these bigger opponents were Miguel Cotto, David Diaz, Oscar Dela Hoya, Ricky Hatton, and Antonio Margarito.
