Dingdong Dantes welcomes Kim Atienza as a Kapuso
Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes shared his heartfelt message for TV personality Kim Atienza who is now officially a Kapuso.
It is finally confirmed that Kuya Kim is the newest Kuya in GMA-7. He already had his tear-jerker episode on ABS-CBN’s primetime news program TV Patrol on October 1.
Now he is set to do three new programs in the Kapuso network. On October 4, Dingdong Dantes welcomed Kim Atienza through this heartfelt post. The A-list actor shared a photo with the TV host that was taken in beside the landmark in front of the Kapuso building.
Dingdong revealed in the caption that there were already several times that Kuya Kim welcomed him in different communities. “From running, to our love for motorcycles and even spirituality,” the actor shared. He added that Kuya has always been generous in sharing his knowledge and wisdom with other people.
“Kaya naman ang tawag ko sa kaniya ay KUYA, hindi dahil ‘yan ang screen name niya, kundi ‘yan ang tingin ko sa kaniya— isang nakatatandang kapatid,” Dingdong said. The actor also said that he can call several names, like “Ka- EM because we belong to the same riding group, Ka- GOTTA, because we belong to the same health and wellness circle, and KUMPADRE dahil siya ay Ninong ng aking anak.”
Now, there is one word that will be added to this list. As Dingdong Dantes welcomes Kim Atienza in GMA, the actor said, “Ngayon, matatawag na rin kitang KAPUSO.”
In the comment section of this post of the Kapuso Primetime King, Kuya Kim expressed his gratitude. “Salamat sa lahat my dear Kumpadre!” he said. Several netizens and Kapuso fans also expressed warm feedback to this network transfer of the popular TV personality.
