Lady Netizen Shares Heartbreaking Story of Senior Citizen Taxi Driver
A lady netizen has shared the heartbreaking story of an elderly taxi driver who stressed out “Tumanda akong malungkot, mag isa”.
A Facebook user named Jasmin Lorica has shared the painful story of a taxi driver that she met on her way to her point of destination. The post goes viral and garnered various reactions from the online community.
Jasmin has decided to ride a taxi but got stuck at a lengthy traffic congestion so she ended up having a conversation with the driver. The two first talked about the price of the gasoline, which keeps on increasing over the past few weeks.
The 66-year-old driver also narrated that he is only earning P100 – P200 per day aside from the boundary. Lorica asked the driver regarding the thing he regrets the most with his old age, which is quite serious.
The elderly man revealed that he regret of not having children after his former girlfriend cheated on him. He had another girlfriend but their relationship did not work and decided to be a good son to his mother.
The senior citizen also narrated that he came from a wealthy family but leave them due to misunderstanding. He is residing inside his taxi during nighttime and picking up passengers at daytime.

““Tumanda akong mag isa at malungkot”
(Hindi ko na nakuha yung pangalan ni Lolo, pero dami kong natutunan.)
Sa kahabaan ng traffic naisipan ko makipagkwentuan sa driver ng taxi na nasakyan ko.
Me: Kamusta po kayo? Sobrang taas po ng gasolina ano?
Lolo: Ehhh. ganon. dito sa edsa pumapalo na ng halos sisenta kaya doon pa ako nagpapa gasolina sa pasay mas mura doon
Me: Nakukuha niyo naman po yung pang boundary? Ilang taon na po kayo?
Lolo: Minsan may sumosobra 100-200pesos.
66 na ako.
Me: Pwede po ba magtanong? Sa edad niyo po ano po pinaka pinagsisihan niyo sa buhay?
Lolo: Siguro yung hindi ako nagka anak. Kahit anak lang sana masaya na ako. Niloko kasi ako ng kinasama ko dati. Sumubok ulit ako magmahal ulit pero hindi rin kami nagkasundo.
Me:
Lolo: Pinili ko na lang maging mabuting anak, inalagaan ko nanay ko hanggang sa nung nawala na siya ako na lang mag isa. Hindi naman sa pag aano pero Atenista ako noon. May kaya ang pamilya namin. pero hindi kami magkasundo ng kapatid ko kaya pinili ko na mabuhay mag isa. dito na rin ako sa taxi natutulog tapos byahe ulit araw2x ganon lang ang buhay ko.
Me: Pero masaya naman po kayo?
Lolo: Tumanda akong malungkot, mag isa.

*Ang kaibahan ng oras sa pera, yung pera nakikita natin kung konti or paubos na, yung oras natin dito sa mundo hindi.

*Iwasan natin manloko, makasakit. Hindi madali makalimot at magpatawad agad para sa iba.
*Hindi kumplikado ang love, tao lang nagpapakumplikado ng sitwasyon.
