A Facebook user named Angelo Dela Cruz has shared the heartbreaking photos of a poor dog who was tied in the gate of a pawnshop. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.
Angelo said that he is waiting for a public transport when he saw a cute dog. Unfortunately, the dog has a chain on its neck and hardly locked up in the gate amidst the heavy rain. Nobody was there to help the animal.
Dela Cruz tried to look for a store to buy food for the dog but there are no available stores in the area. He decided to take photos and leave the dog because it was already late and he can’t do nothing on the chain.
The concerned guy also saw the dog weeping. The pictures were taken along Pritil in Tondo Manila. He also asked the netizens to help the dog.

“While im waiting for a taxi or a jeepney, basta kahit ano basta makasakay na pauwi. I saw this cute guy. It’s almost 10:30PM na din at wala ng masyadong tao na dumadaan, i tried to help him but the chain on his neck was hardly locked up in the gate. Sobrang lakas ng ulan, parang iniwan sya sa harap ng pawnshop and nobody was there.
Hindi ko din alam gagawin ko dahil basang basa na ako ng ulan at walang malapit na store para bilhan sya at iwanan ng food. Masyado na ding late and i really need to go home at baka kase maabutan ng curfew.
I keep thinking about this dog, what if nagugutom sya pero di nya magawa kase na lock sya. This is the first time na nakita po ako ng umiiyak na Dog, yes po may luha po sa mga eyes nya
Ito ay nakuha kong litrato sa Pritil, Tondo Manila. Im not familiar about the place that’s why i decided to take a picture of him and the place where the dog was staying over night.
Please kung may malapit sa lugar na ito. Pakitulungan yung dog.”
