Here’s what Boy Abunda said about the transfer rumors and the past offers to him from other networks.

BOY ABUNDA – King of Talk Boy Abunda reveals the truth to circulating rumors about his transfer to the rival of ABS-CBN network.

In a previous article, there were rumors online saying that the network transfer of King Of Talk Boy Abunda to GMA was under negotiation. However, it wasn’t clear yet because both parties haven’t come up yet with a contract price where the involved persons would agree.

To recall, the King of Talk previously revealed that he has received various offers from other networks when the ABS-CBN shut down. his contract with the Kapamilya network got suspended but instead of accepting the offers from other networks, he used the time to rest. Also, he believes that those artists who decided to leave must not face criticism. Their desire to survive amid the pandemic must not be taken as something against them.

And now, finally speaking about the rumors of his transfer following the reports regarding the transfer of Kuya Kim Atienza, he squashed the rumors and refuted claims that he will transfer. For now, network transfer is still a “no” for him because he is still waiting for his current network to rise again.

He is hopeful that ABS-CBN will return to free airing again. He miss doing his talk shows and he missed being on television. He said, “I wanna be able to go back to television. I miss television. I miss doing my talk shows on television.”

However, if the Kapamilya network won’t really return, applying to other networks would be his last resort. Refuting the rumors, the King of Talk stated, “Pero sa ngayon, di totoo yun. Nahihiya lang ako sa Channel 7. Hindi ko alam bakit lumitaw ngayon ‘yan.”

He also revealed that he has received offers from GMA-7 and TV5 but those offers were from independent producers and people affiliated to Kapuso network. He was offered to do a talk show.
