Homeless Man Viral Online for Singing James Ingram’s Song Gets Help from Netizens

Concerned netizens reached out to a homeless man who recently went viral after singing the James Ingram’s “Just Once” at a videoke.

Vivencio Empalmado, aka “TAGAPOK PALABOY Singer Ng Catarman,” from Northern Samar, recently wowed the crowd with his rendition of “Just Once.” The singing palaboy displayed one-of-a-kind singing skills while hitting the high notes of the 1999 song in the 4 minutes and 25 seconds footage.

His singing has received a lot of positive feedback on the internet. Some are hoping that he will be discovered and offered a reprieve. Other concerned internet users also came out to him to offer assistance.

Tagapok always invited the store owner and the person who took the video, Fernan Fabrigas, to sing at the videoke. Tagapok Empalmado was their former neighbor, according to Fabrigas.

Frabigas also revealed that he finished college but suffered from depression when his mother died. Tagapok has since been seen loitering when he came back from Manila.

Fabrigas not only lets Empalmado stay with him, but he also provides him with food and clothing on occasion. Netizens have been donating to Empalmado since the video went viral. His video as of now garnered millions of views and reactions.

He used the money to have a haircut, bathe, and change his clothes, among other things. They also used the money to have Empalmado checked out and buy his prescriptions and groceries, according to Fabrigas.
