Alden Richards, Sylvia Sanchez Lead 36th Star Awards for Movies Winners

Here are the winners of the 36th Star Awards for Movies lead by actors Alden Richards and Sylvia Sanchez.

ALDEN RICHARDS – The winners of the 36th edition of the Star Awards for Movies are finally released and here’s the full and complete list.

The big winners during the virtual presentation of the 36th edition of the Star Awards for Movies are Sylvia Sanchez and Alden Richards for their films  “Jesusa” and “Hello, Love, Goodbye”, respectively. The announcement was held on Sunday, September 26. Alden was also awarded Movie Loveteam of the Year along with Kathryn Bernardo for their blockbuster film HLG helmed by Cathy Garcia-Molina.

Ricky Davao, on the other hand, won the Movie Supporting Actor of the year for the film “Fuccbois” and the Movie Supporting Actress of the Year is Maricel Laxa for her portrayal in HLG.

Philippine Movie Press Club President Roldan Castro expressed his gratitude to the Film Development Council of the Philippines, Director Pete Mariano, hosts Rep. Alfred Vargas and Sanya Lopez, WEMSAP and performers Jed Madela, Luke Mejares, and Regine Velasquez- Alcasid, for making the event possible based on a report from PEP.

It has also been announced that “Hello, Love, Goodbye” is the Movie of the Year and “Mindanao” is the Indie Movie of the Year.
