Dick Gordon Becomes Emotional Expressing His Message to Filipino People

DICK GORDON – The senator becomes emotional defending himself from the accusations of President Rodrigo Duterte against him.

Senator Richard Gordon became emotional when asked what his message to the public during his interview with ThePressRoom. The senator fights back tears as he remembers the people who came to him for help because they couldn’t afford any medicine or oxygen.

“Kung hindi tayo magsisilbi sa tao, sino magtatangol sa tao? Hindi ko dapat iyakan ‘yan kasi hindi ko naman kamag anak, tinatamaan po talaga ako kasi mababaw ang luha naming mga Gordon,” said the senator.

It also stated that “taob na ang kaldero ng mga tao” at this time, and expressed the hope that the country will be led properly. He also informed President Rodrigo Duterte the same thing, adding that people go to the hospital hungry and jobless.

“Mr. President, taob na ang kaldero ng tao… Mga kababayan this is what is all about, maaring kayo sabihin kaya namin, pero ‘yung mahihirap walang makain, walang trabaho,  papasok sa ospital.. excuse me po, taob na ang kaldero,”the emotional senator said.

Gordon also denied milking the Red Cross, claiming that the organization before he supervised was already in financial trouble. Gordon has been embroiled in controversy as a result of his ongoing investigation into alleged corruption in the current administration, as you may recall.

As a result, issues he had earlier were exposed, such as when he placed his Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) with the Philippine Red Cross (PRC), which he also manages. Gordon acknowledged that PDAF had been placed in his firm, but he saw no issues with it.
