Action movie star Robin Padilla asked this important question to netizens regarding the path he will take in the future if he will enter politics or go back to doing movies.
Robin is one of the celebrities in the Philippines who vocally support the present administration. Previously, there were speculations that he might enter politics and will run for Senator in the 2022 elections. However, based on a previous article, the actor denied that he is planning to run next year. He said this in a vlog of his wife Mariel Padilla. The actor wanted a peaceful life for their kids and so he would not be in a political arena.
In a recent video posted on the Twitter account of News5, Robin Padilla, through his Facebook Live, asked the online community if what they can say about the two choices that are being presented to him right now.
He said that he is thinking if he will run for Senator or Governor of Camarines Norte but he was shocked upon knowing the amount of money that he should spend for his candidacy. Another option for a political position is Mayor of Jose Panganiban where his father, Casimero ‘Roy’ Padilla, Sr. served for four terms.
“Ngayong October eh, ang daming mangyayari, , sabay-sabay. Kailangan akong magdesisyon,” he said. The actor added that this has been bothering his thoughts.
On the other hand, he is also thinking about going back to doing films. Robin Padilla shared that there are movie projects waiting for him. The action movie star said that there are plans of doing sequels for his movies Bad Boy and Mistah.
“Kaya kayo na lang po ang tatanungin ko, mga mahal kong kababayan. Sa palagay po ninyo, ano ang dapat kong gawin?” he said. Robin Padilla said that he will read the comments of the netizens regarding this matter.
