Robin Padilla Denies Earnings from Friendship with Bong Go, Duterte

Robin Padilla Clarifies Allegation He Earn Money from Friendship with Bong Go, President Duterte

Veteran actor Robin Padilla denied the allegation he is profiting money from Senator Bong Go and President Rodrigo Duterte with their friendship.

Robin Padilla reacted on social media when Senator Bong Go was recently involved in a near-accident while riding a chopper to Basilan. The renowned actor expressed gratitude to God for protecting the senator and their mutual friend, Philip Salvador, who was also traveling in the chopper.

“Maraming salamat po Maawain na Dios at inyo pong iniligtas sa tiyak na kapahamakan ang aking mga kaibigan,” Binoy wrote in his post.

He further stated in his statement that being a buddy of Go and President Rodrigo Duterte has never brought him any money. The action star went on to say that he was offered a government job but turned it down because he didn’t want to spend time away from his family and his acting career.

He added, however, that he supports Go and Duterte because he understands how sincere they are when it comes to caring for and serving the Filipino people. Go, according to Robin, is always willing to put his life on the line for the greater good.

Robin also mentioned that the chopper mishap that occurred to Go was not unusual. He claimed that on their flight to Marawi, they had “zero visibility” in the air.

Senator Bong Go (SBG) encourages them to have faith, saying that many people were waiting for them. In God’s favor, a little hole appeared in the hazy vision, allowing them to exit safely landed at their destination.
