Concerned Netizen Caught Thieves on Video Robbing Truck Stuck in Traffic
A concerned netizen shows video footage of thieves where they were caught robbing a truck stuck in heavy traffic in Manila.
The worried netizen known only as “Toto,” who was a passenger in the vehicle behind the truck, was able to capture video of thieves robbing a truck. Two (2) people are seen behind the truck looking for something to steal on video.
The suspects, according to the report, were able to steal a tube that is used to make tire replacement easier. Toto expressed his surprise at seeing a woman stealing from the truck.
“Gulat na gulat ako kasi first time ko rin po makakita, babae pa po ‘yung nagnanakaw. Ang lakas po ng loob,” Toto said.

He said, however, that he was unable to assist the truck driver because he was afraid they would turn on him. He claims that if you are brave enough to chastise them, they would grow enraged and turn on you.
“‘Yung mga ugali ng mga tao doon kapag binusinahan mo, tinulungan mo ‘yung ninanakawan, ikaw ang aanuhin. Puwedeng batuhin ‘yung windshield mo, paluin ‘yung side mirror mo,” he said.
Another driver confirmed that there were thieves in the neighborhood. He recommended that you close your windows and lock the door of your vehicle when you come to a stop.
The majority of thievery cases, according to residents, occur at night. However, robberies can occur at any time of the day or night. The current incident is being investigated by the Manila Police District (MPD).
“Tawag nga natin dito, termites ng lansangan. Sinisigurado natin hindi magtatagal mahuhuli natin itong mga to,” MPD spokesman Police Captain Philipp Ines said.
