Concerned Parent Calls DepEd’s Attention to Resolve Issues on Current Learning System

A concerned parent urged the Department of Education (DepEd) to resolve the issues on distance learning system.

A Facebook user named Eule Rico Bonganay has expressed his disappointment with the current learning system for causing inconvenience to both teachers and students. The post is now circulating online.

Bonganay said that his daughter Armee is supposed to attend its class orientation around 2:00 pm for the school year 2021-2022. However, several hours have past but the orientation did not yet start.

The parents also asked on how to download Google Meet and the teacher patiently give instructions. Eventually, the participants were able to enter the meeting room and instructed them to stay online for checking of attendance.

The teacher is supposed to use a power point for easier presentation but the educator struggled to screen-share the material. Both parents and students patiently waited for about 10 minutes but the teacher failed to do so.

After a few moments, the teacher leave the room and apologized for the inconvenience because the internet connection malfunctioned. The educator just shared the screen-grabbed photos of the presentation.

Eule said that it was very frustrating for teachers who prepared for the presentation. It is also disappointing for students who spend time to attend the orientation.

The concerned parent called the attention of Education Department to find a solution to address the issue, which becomes the struggles of parents, students and teacher for over a year since the new learning system started.

Here is the full post:

Leave the room na.
