Poor Grandpa Gets Emotional After Jolina Flood Swept His House & Save Plates Only
A poor grandpa gets emotional and bursts into tears after massive flooding brought by Typhoon Jolina swept his house.
Flooding is one of the natural disasters that exist during inclement weather condition especially amid heavy rains. It could cause damage to properties and may even take lives during devastation.
Throughout this week, Typhoon Jolina whipped numerous parts of the Philippines with heavy to intense rains and gusty winds. The inclement weather conditions causes damage to several properties and vegetation.
The tropical cyclone also triggered massive flooding in some provinces due to the incessant rains. Numerous residents have fled from their houses and moved to evacuation centers for their own safety.
Jolina also took the lives of some Filipino people including a construction worker who died in a landslide while a senior citizen lost his house due to the heavy rains and flooding in Barangay San Isidro.
The 71-year-old identified as Danilo Linas has expressed his frustrations and disappointment after losing its house due to the flood. The old man failed to save his possessions and recovered several plates from the debris.
“Kung may mga taong gustong tumulong, buong puso ko pong tatanggapin… Huwag na lang din kaya, nakakahiya sa mga tao,” Linas said.
The elderly man reiterated that he worked hard to build his house for seven years and he didn’t even manage to save a thing. He even wiped his tears while asking help from the kind-hearted individuals.
