Ruffa Gutierrez On Being "High Blood" In Reinanay Previously

In “high blood” mode, Ruffa Gutierrez previously lambasted a Showtime contestant and here’s what she said about what happened.

RUFFA GUTIERREZ – It’s Showtime Choose-gado Ruffa Gutierrez speaks about being high blood yesterday towards a contestant in Reinanay.

Its Showtime has this segment called “Reinanay” which is meant to give honor and discover various stories of mothers. They are welcome to join the show and every contestant has their own inspiring life stories. And yesterday, one contestant encountered a question asked by her mother, the contestant’s name is Marilyn. She was asked by her mother about her children who are with them and not providing for them for 10 years now.

Her mother was emotional because they have nothing. They don’t have enough to survive and selling buko salad amid the pandemic is tough for them. Her two children are with her parents and she has been accordingly not providing for them for a long time.

Hosts Vice Ganda condemned what she has done to her kids. They believe that she should be responsible for them because it’s not their choice to be in that situation. It was hers and her being unable to provide enough has put them in a disposition where they are left with no choice.

And such a thought has angered Ruffa Gutierrez one of the hosts. She believed that she should get her kids from her parents and be strong enough to raise them because they are her kids. In a blank face, she stressed that she should be the one supporting them no matter what happens because they are her children, not her parent’s children.

“Tama yung sinabi ni Vice, gagawa-gawa ka ng anak tapos iiwan mo lang dun. Hindi maganda yun…” she said.

Explaining her side about what has transpired, her emotions accordingly has gotten into her amid her isolation. She is currently in quarantine after going home from the United States. Being in quarantine is one of the requirements for the returning residents to avoid the spreading of the virus. She’s now on her 9th day being alone in isolation.

She said referring to her trending comment to a Reinanay contestant, “Kaya yesterday lumabas yung real talk ko di ba kasi 9th day na eh. Kausap ko na yung sarili ko for 9 days. So today, I’m back be kind, polite, and sweet kasi malapit na akong lumabas.”
