Will Toni Gonzaga allow her son to join PBB?
TONI GONZAGA – Kapamilya host Toni Gonzaga answers when asked about the possibility of her son Seve joining the reality show PBB.
Pinoy Big Brother is set to open a new season soon and currently, they are in search of possible housemates who are willing to face the tasks from the head of the house, Kuya. The auditions will be done virtually through Kumu and what they are looking for in a housemate include being real, with an interesting character and personality, and a story that will stand out.
Direk Lauren Diyogi clarified that they are not just picking based on looks. They have cues and a set of housemates is a mixture of people from different walks of life and set to live together. The one who will get through till the end will be the big winner. The season is open to teen and regular aspiring housemates.
And as for Toni Gonzaga, the main host since 2005 and was also among the celebrities given the brief time to become a housemate, she’s grateful for this another opportunity for the show. She’s happy and grateful because she stayed and is still a part of the program.
Now, when asked about her son joining the reality show, she answered that as much as possible, she can’t allow him. However, understanding the role of being a mother to an exploring child, she shared that if Seve really insists and finds it in him to be a part of it, she would let him. She would give him her love and support.
She said to PUSH, “So feeling ko that’s our role sa aming mga anak, to love them and support them and of course expose them to different hobbies, sports, and fields tapos sila na maghahanap ng passion nila in life.”
The reason why she won’t allow her son is because she already knows that being inside the house does not only contribute to physical torment. Being a housemate in PBB, she believes, is like a rollercoaster ride of emotions that would drain out the energy of one person not just physically but also mentally and emotionally.
