The Blackview BV4900 was officially announced on August 18, 2020. The rugged smartphone comes with a screen size of 5.7 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels, an 18:9 aspect ratio.

Blackview BV4900 measures 157.5 x 78.1 x 13.7 mm and weighs 261 grams. It is built with a glass front and a premium rubber back. It supports dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by).

The rugged phone is powered by Mediatek MT6761D Helio A20 (12 nm) processor while the graphics processing unit (GPU) is PowerVR GE8300. It runs on the Android 10.0 operating system.

Blackview BV4900 is integrated with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It also supports expandable microSD storage up to 128GB.

The rugged smartphone is integrated with a triple-camera on the rear side: 8-megapixel + 0.3-megapixel and 0.3-megapixel with features like digital zoom, geotagging, panorama, HDR, and touch focus. For clicking selfies and self-shooting videos, there is a single camera on the front that features a 5-megapixel camera.

Connectivity options on the phone include Micro USB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS, NFC and FM radio. The device’s sensors include a compass, accelerometer, and proximity.

BV4900 is kept on by a 5580 mAh built-in battery. It was launched in Orange, Yellow, Green, and Black colors.
