Here’s a statement from influencer Macoy Dubs after this video of him doing something to another man gathered critical comments.
MACOY DUBS – Famous social media influencer apologizes for what he has done in this viral video after a lot of netizens have called him out online.
Mark Averilla or also known as Macoy Dubs on social media is being called out by a lot of netizens lately because of a video of him with CJ. He recorded himself pressing “that” part of CJ seemingly just teasing him while they are at work. However, such action was not well-digested by most people despite the fact that he is close to CJ and clarifying that it was just a joke.
They were just “nagkukulitan” and “naghaharutan” as explained by the influencer on his social media page. However, he also wanted to clarify that he did not touch or grab that man’s private part. It was never “panghihipo” on his part because they are close and such actions are just his way to tease him.
He is owning up to his mistake and he is taking responsibility. He understands the sentiments of many people if the video has left a malicious impression on them. He himself is not tolerating any kind of aggravation. He admits his mistake but he also believes that such pranks or jokes are also normal to others. The only difference in his case is that he recorded it and uploaded it for public consumption.
Moreover, he accordingly has talked to CJ already and they are fine with regards to the issue. He is expressing his apologies in his posts many times to those people who got triggered because of what he has done. He also expressed that he will be better with his actions next time and aired that what happened in the video is something that people should never follow.
