Xian Lim is set to do a TV series in the Kapuso network
Actor-host Xian Lim expressed excitement for his first project in GMA-7 and it is a TV series with first StarStruck Ultimate Female Survivor Jennylyn Mercado.
Xian has been part of the Kapamiya network for several years along with his love team partner Chinita Princess Kim Chiu who is now his girlfriend in real life. Their tandem is known as KimXi.
Rumors started to surface that Xian will transfer to GMA when he guested on Willie Revillame’s TV special for a popular online shopping brand. Then, reports surfaced that Xian Lim will do a TV series with Jennylyn Mercado and this was confirmed just recently.
Based on the article in GMA Entertainment, the former Kapamilya actor said that he is excited to star in a new Kapuso series as this will be his first project in the network.
Also included in the cast of the series titled Love, Die, Repeat are Kim Domingo and Mike Tan. During a recent interview by GMA News, Xian said that he is happy to be a Kapuso. “I feel very happy and excited being here. I’m really grateful sa lahat ng nangyayari,” he said.
Even though he has not worked yet with Jennylyn in the past, Xian said that he admires his new leading lady. It is because he was able to watch the movie of Jennylyn before with former Kapamilya A-list actor John Lloyd Cruz, who is also set to do a sitcom in GMA.
“Even before pa, I’ve watched her film with John Lloyd and I instantly became a fan. Aside from magaling siya, nakikita kong she’s very passionate,” Xian Lim said.
He is also happy to feel the positive vibes from their production team and this is something that elates him. Meanwhile, aside from his acting projects, Xian wlll also go back to doing hosting stints.
