Is this a hint that Xian Lim and Jessy Mendiola are going to be a Kapuso?
Celebrities Xian Lim and Jessy Mendiola who did several shows under the Kapamilya network were recently seen on a TV special on GMA-7.
These past few months, the network transfer of several popular stars became a hot topic. Former Kapuso stars Sunshine Dizon and Jake Ejercito joined the cast of Kapamilya series Marry Me, Marry You with Janine Gutierrez and Paulo Avelino who also came from the Kapuso network.
Just recently, the network transfer of A-list actress Bea Alonzo to GMA created a loud buzz. Prior to her, her longtime onscreen partner John Lloyd Cruz also appeared on the Kapuso TV special and had a meeting with an executive in GMA.
Meanwhile, actress-singer Lovi Poe is still undecided if she should be called a Kapuso or a Kapamilya. She said that the negotiation is still ongoing and so she does not want to speak about this yet.
In a recent article in PEP, it was stated that he will be the leading man of Jennylyn Mercado in the upcoming primetime series Love. Die. Repeat. However, he is not yet introduced officially as a Kapuso artist.
On the other hand, Xian Lim recently had his first GMA appearance and it was on the TV special of the online shopping brand that Wowowin host Willie Revillame is endorsing.
He performed and hosted the said event with Jessy Mendiola who also had a dance production number. Reportedly, when Jessy asked Xian what he feels that he is in the Kapuso network now, the latter answered, “GMA, maraming-maraming salamat. Wil, mula bata pa lang ako, e, tagahanga na ako. Sa lahat ng Kapuso na nanonood ngayon, maraming-maraming salamat!”
