Angel Locsin recalls the start of her career in showbiz
A-list actress Angel Locsin admitted being intimidated by this particular actress who has been in the Kapuso network for several years now.
Angel is indeed one of the prominent actresses of her generation. She has portrayed remarkable roles on TV and movies that paved her way to stardom. However, just like other artists, she also had a humble beginning in showbiz.
In a previous article, Angel Locsin shared that during her younger years, there was a period she called her “raket days”. She started doing modeling stints before having the chance on TV.
Based on the article in PEP, Angel just recently recalled that there was a time when she accompanied a friend in an audition and while waiting, she was also told to try auditioning.
She said that from Caloocan to Makati she would ride the bus and MRT and would come to audition with all her sweat then, she would see Kapuso actress Solenn Heaussaff coming out from her car looking so beautiful.
“Papasok si Solenn, galing kotse. Ang ganda-ganda ni Solenn talaga! Alam mo yung gusto ko na lang umuwi kasi alam mong hindi ka makukuha, yung ganun,” Angel shared.
After several years of hard work, both Angel and Solenn become successful in their respective showbiz careers. The Kapamilya actress said that one time, she shared this story with the Kapuso actress.
“Later on, after so many years, kinausap ko na si Solenn. ‘Solenn, alam mo ba dati pag pumupunta tayo sa audition, umuuwi na lang ako kasi alam kong hindi ako makukuha?’ Hindi niya ako natatandaan!” she said and then laughed.
Angel Locsin also said that even back then, Solenn Heaussaff was already an “It Girl” but she was very approachable and kind. The Kapamilya actress even shared that the Kapuso actress apologized to her because of this.
