From friends to lovers, this is the love story of Bea Alonzo and Dominic Roque
Actress Bea Alonzo shared the story of how her friendship with actor Dominic Roque bloomed into a romantic relationship.
Speculations about the real score between Bea and Dominic started to circulate in late 2019. Following this, once in a while photos of them together surfaced online but the most noticeable during that time was Dominic’s presence during Bea’s family event.
Just recently, they had their California trip that became a way of their relationship confirmation. In a previous interview, Bea Alonzo revealed that she and Dominic Roque are officially a couple just a few months ago but they had been dating for quite a while as she revealed early this year.
In a recent interview by PEP, the actress said that she and Dominic have been friends for several years now. “Friends na kami few years back pa. We would hang out every now and then. Siguro magandang foundation talaga ng isang relationship yung friendship,” she said.
Bea said that this setup works for her and Dom and they already know the weaknesses and strengths of each other. They already know each other’s “ugly side” and there was no effort to show the best foot forward.
With this kind of foundation, romance bloomed between them and netizens have been gushing over their sweet photos and sweet messages on social media.
Bea Alonzo also shared that the “jowa reveal” during their recent trip was not intentional. It just so happened that she loves the video that she took on Dominic Roque’s phone and posted it on her Instagram Story.
“Akala niya nagkamali ako. Pero I intended to do it kasi ang cute namin dun. Pinost ko. And I think that was the first time na nag-post together,” the actress said. She added that it felt right to share it as she went with the flow, her gut feeling.
