Lawyer of Nadine Lustre has this statement about the case versus Viva
Actress Nadine Lustre is now managing herself as her lead counsel Atty. Lorna Kapunan said despite the announcement of Vincent del Rosario, President and COO of Viva Comm., Inc., that they talked about her upcoming projects.
Following the case that Nadine filed against her the management firm handling her career, she chose to do her showbiz engagements by herself.
However, reports surfaced that Nadine is set to do projects again with Viva. The talent management company announced this as the actress failed to get the court’s decision in favor of her regarding her complaints against Viva. To recall, the actress said that her contract with VAA was “oppressive” and so she announced previously that she would just manage her career.
In a recent report from Manila Bulletin, the camp of Nadine Lustre insisted that the case is not over yet. Atty. Kapunan said in a statement that the announcement that the Viva Boss released regarding the upcoming projects of the actress has changed nothing.
“Nadine has a separate movie contract with Viva that is still existing. What she terminated was the management/agency contract with VAA. The case is still pending since we filed a Motion for Reconsideration of the Decision of the court. Nadine is now self managing,” the lawyer of the actress said.
Amid this issue, Nadine Lustre chose to remain silent. Meanwhile, the actress recently trended on Twitter because of her photo showing that she bought a bottle of ‘Mang Tomas’ as she has been spotted having her vacation in Siargao. It is also being rumored that she is with her new boyfriend. Rumor has it that she is now dating Christophe Bariou.
