Video of Food Delivery Rider Who Collapsed After Suffering From Heat Stroke Goes Viral
The video footage of a food delivery rider who passed away after suffering from a heat stroke while waiting for orders goes viral.
A Facebook user named Derix Kyrie Manfoste has shared the video of a food delivery rider who suddenly collapsed while parking beside the road. The video garnered various reactions from the netizens.
In the video, it can be seen that the Grab Food rider parked beside the road while scrolling on his mobile phone. The delivery worker might be waiting for his next order when suddenly collapsed.
The passersby and other motorcycle riders immediately responded and tried to seek help from the barangay officials. The residents did not move the victim from his spot fearing that the rider’s condition might get worse.
After a few moments, the authorities arrived and applied a first aid towards the Grab rider. It took a few minutes before an emergency vehicle arrived to take the heat stroke victim to the nearest hospital.
Unfortunately, the delivery employee has been declared dead-on-arrival at the hospital. Manfoste claimed that he do not own the video but asked the netizens to share or donate some amount towards the victim’s family.
