4 Women Nabbed Over Fake RT-PCR Test Results to Fly Going Dubai

4 Women Boarding to Dubai Arrested after Presenting Fake RT-PCR Test Results

Police authorities arrested four (4) women allegedly boarding to Dubai after they presented fake RT-PCR test results for requirements.

According to a GMA News source, the four are slated to go to Albania. The Bureau of Immigration (BI) however, deported them or refused to allow them to travel without knowing where they would stay or what their itinerary would be.

The four also admitted to going to Dubai to work after being confronted by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI). When authorities investigated the test results for the virus supplied by the women, they determined that they were fake.

They have contacted the diagnostic center that purportedly conducted the test and given the results, according to Atty. Ruel Dugayon, chief of the NBI International Airport Investigation Division. The diagnostic center, on the other hand, stated that such test reports were not released since they were not examined.

“Sinabi ng diagnostic center na wala silang ni-release na ganoong test report dahil hindi naman nila in-examine ang mga ito,” said Atty. Ruel Dugayon.

The four women accused with document falsification have refused to make a statement. The National Bureau of Investigation is also investigating the source of the bogus reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) tests.

Meanwhile, a group of nurses has expressed their displeasure with President Rodrigo Duterte for defending Department of Health (DOH) Secretary Francisco Duque III over alleged COVID-19 money misuse. The DOH was highlighted by the Commission on Audit (COA) for misusing the P67.32 billion COVID-19 money.
