Naoya Inoue Accepts Fight to End Provoking of John Riel Casimero

Naoya Inoue to End Provoking of John Riel Casimero by Accepting Challenge

Japanese boxer Naoya Inoue accepts the challenge of Filipino Boxer John Riel Casimero who keeps on provoking him on live broadcasting.

The unbeaten Japanese boxing champion responds to Casimero’s challenge after being enraged by the Filipino boxer’s bravado on live television. Inoue, the current World Boxing Association (WBA) and International Boxing Federation (IBF) world bantamweight champion, stated in a tweet that he will defeat Casimero, the current World Boxing Organization (WBO) world bantamweight champion.

“Once the match with Casimero is decided, I would like to beat it under the rule of boxing. Therefore, we firmly ask for weight management ‘doping’ management so that the match will be established. I hope this year,” the Japanese fighter said.

Inoue previously stated in a tweet that he will not remain silent even if his name is publicly maligned. To put an end to the baiting, Inoue encouraged boxing promoters to organize a battle against the Filipino boxer.

“Why do we have to be silent when we are so fueled and provoked on live broadcasting. There are people who say various things, but this is a personal remark with Casimero… Please organize a match, ” he said.

Casimero revealed in an interview over the ring after his recent victory over Guillermo Rigondeaux that he wants to face fellow Filipino Nonito Donaire Jr. and Inoue. Casimero also flashed a “middle finger” during the interview.

Casimero mocked Donaire for pulling out of their scheduled match in a different interview. Casimero is also claimed to be prepared to face both Donaire and Inoue simultaneously.

In 2013, Donaire was defeated by Rigondeaux. Inoue defeated Donaire again in 2019. Inoue’s most recent bout was in June of last year when he knocked out Filipino Michael Dasmarinas.

One of Donaire’s reasons for not continuing the bout with Casimero was “doping” management, which Inoue brought up. Casimero’s camp was previously accused of failing to submit the Voluntary Anti-Doping Association (VADA) test on time.

Donaire was also upset over Casimero’s alleged mistreatment of his wife. Casimero challenged Inoue to a fight in November 2020.
