John Riel Casimero Belittles Nonito Donaire after Winning vs Cuban Foe

John Riel Casimero Belittles Nonito Donaire who Previously Lose from Cuban Boxer

JOHN RIEL CASIMERO – Filipino boxer belittles co-boxer Nonito Donaire after winning against Cuban boxer Guillermo Rigondeaux.

Nonito Donaire Jr. dubbed the “Filipino Flash,” was insulted and belittled by his compatriot and fellow boxer John Riel Casimero. Casimero had defeated Guillermo Rigondeaux, who had previously defeated Donaire in 2013.

Casimero claims he would not have been able to fight Rigondeaux, who is now 40 years old if Donaire had not backed out of the bout they were due to fight. Casimero confessed that he was displeased with Rigondeaux’s performance in their match, which went off without a hitch.

“Last fight na niya ‘yon. Lahat ng tao hindi natuwa, lahat ng ano sa TV wala, wala talaga, hindi mabenta sa TV. Kahit ako nga nagalit ako, hindi ako natuwa sa ibinigay niya na laban sa akin,” according to Casimero.

He further claimed that he told Rigondeaux not to escape and to fight him jointly so that the audience and jury would not fall asleep during the trial. He went on to argue that if his genuine opponent, Donaire, had not backed down, he would not have been able to fight Rigondeaux.

“Hindi ko naman talaga siya lalabanan. Ano bang makukuha ko sa kaniya? Wala. Ang makukuha ko lang sa kaniya yung karangalan ko na matatalo ko siya,” Casimero explained.

“Hindi ka nahihiya nun (Donaire)? Yung nambugbog sa’yo papatulugin ko sana kung hindi lang tumakbo. Ang hina pala nung bumugbog sa’yo,” Casimero said to Donaire.

The battle between Donaire and Rigondeaux took place in 2013 when the Cuban boxer defeated The Filipino Flash by unanimous decision. According to previous reports, Donaire dropped the fight against Casimero because he allegedly failed to give Casimero’s team the Voluntary Anti-Doping Association (VADA) test on time.

Donaire was also upset over Casimero’s alleged mistreatment of his wife. Donaire lambasted misogynistic culture and Casimero for acting unprofessionally with his wife, claiming that the Filipino boxer snacked his private parts.

On the other side, Casimero stated that he is willing to fight anyone between Donaire and Japanese boxer Naoya Inoue-even. He boasted that if they could box with him at the same time, he could fight.
