Cops Arrest Quarantine Violator Who Became Drug Pusher After Failing to Receive Cash Aid
A quarantine violator becomes a drug pushes after he allegedly failed to receive financial assistance from the government.
The police authorities are roaming around lower Bicutan in Taguig City when they saw a health protocol violator identified as Jamoran Cayagcag not wearing his face mask properly. They apprehended the latter for his violation.
Unfortunately, the quarantine offender immediately ran away, which prompted the police officers to chase him because of his suspicious gestures during the apprehension. The cops were able to catch the violator.
The cops frisked the culprit and found several sachets of alleged illegal drugs, grenade, firearm and ammunitions. The policemen conducted a tactical interrogation towards the suspect.
During the interrogation, the suspect admitted his mistakes explained that he had no choice but to proliferate illegal drugs after failing to receive a cash aid during this ECQ.
However, Cayagcag eventually denied the allegations against him. “Wala ho, hindi ho akin yung inaano,” the suspect said. He is currently facing charges for violation of comprehensive drugs act of 2002, illegal possession of explosives and fire arms and violation of minimum health protocols.

Currently, the National Capital Region and its nearby areas were under an enhanced community quarantine to curb the surging cases of the coronavirus disease. The ECQ is expected to end today (August 20) if it would not be extended.
