Henry Omaga Diaz Channels Karen Davila At End of Their Newscast
HENRY OMAGA DIAZ – TV Patrol anchor Henry Omaga Diaz spoofed Karen Davila’s viral interview with singer Lyca Garainod.
Last Friday, August 13, TV Patrol anchors Noli De Castro, Bernadette Semberano, and Henry Omaga Diaz sent some good vibes through their outro. They veered away from their usual formal newscast and ended the program with a TikTok dance.
The spinner immediately the popular TikTok dance “Gimme Hope Joanna” after Noli’s spiel. The frame switched into a split-screen showing the Kapamilya anchors.
Noli De Castro, Bernadette Semberano, and Henry Omaga Diaz once again gave their viewers good vibes after their Monday newscast. Henry channeled Karen Davila’s viral reaction.
The female broadcast journalist trended on Twitter yesterday after her viral clip with ‘The Voice Kids’ grand winner Lyca Garainod made rounds online. In the viral video, Karen asked the singer when her birthday is. As it turns out, Lyca was born on Nov. 21, which also happened to be her birthday.
Karen was very shocked and her screaming made the singer step back a little. In a previous article, host Vice Ganda reenacted the broadcaster’s viral interview on Its Showtime.

Vice Ganda and Henry were among the people who are amused by this interaction between Karen Davila and Lyca Garainod. In a post on his Twitter account on August 17, Vice retweeted ABS-CBN’s short video clip of Henry Omaga Diaz channeling Karen Davila.
In the caption of the post, he wrote: “Waaaaaahhhh!!!! Sir Henry is so cute! Kapamilya news anchors giving me good vibes 2mornings in a row. More plissssshhhhh!!!!”
