Noli de Castro, Bernadette Sembrano, Henry Omaga-Diaz Dances to Popular TikTok Dance challenge “Gimme Hope Joanna”
NOLI – Here’s the viral video of Noli De Castro, Bernadette Sembrano, and Henry Omaga-Diaz dancing to the popular TikTok dance challenge “Gimme Hope Joanna.”
TV Patrol is the flagship national newscast of ABS-CBN. It is anchored by Noli De Castro, Henry Omaga-Diaz, and Bernadette Sembrano.
Their program formerly aired on the Kapamilya network until May 5, 2020, when the company was forced to shut down by orders of the National Telecommunications Commission after its franchise expired on May 4.
The program currently airs on ABS-CBN’s cable channels Kapamilya Channel and ANC. TV Patrol also streams on the video-sharing platform Youtube.
Noli De Castro, Bernadette Sembrano, and Henry Omaga-Diaz recently sent some good vibes through their outro on Friday, Aug. 13, 2021. They veered away from their usual formal newscast and ended it with a short TikTok dance. They have been delivering their reports in separate locations of the Kapamilya compound since May 2021 after Sembrano contracted the coronavirus (COVID-19) virus.

To end TV Patrol’s episode, Noli de Castro told their Kapamilya viewers: “Happy weekend, Kabayan. Ingat, ingat at ingat pa rin. At magandang gabi, bayan!” The spinner immediately played the music of the popular TikTok dance challenge “Gimme Hope Joanna” before ending his monologue.
The frame switched to split-screen and the Kapamilya anchors were seen moving their shoulders and dancing to the song.
De Castro could be seen moving his body front and back while Henry smiles as he did a little dance step. Sembrano also smiles as she moves her shoulders and asked one of the staff in front of her, “Paano ba ito?”
The female anchor later said, “Taman na!” while laughing but still she continues dancing. Their video was reposted on Instagram by @kabulastugan. It came with a caption, “ismayl muna.”
