MANILYN REYNES – ‘Pepito Manaloto’ star Manilyn Reynes surprised her fans with her impressive use of sign language.

Filipina actress and singer Manilyn Reynes became a child star in the ’80s. She’s known for her role in movies like “Dear Mama,” “Minsan May Isang Ina,” and “Daddy Knows Best.” She was once dubbed as the “Star of the New Decade.

She also became a singer known for albums like “Manilyn,” “Gugma” and “Heartbeat.” She and her husband, a former actor Aljon Jimenez are now blessed with three (3) kids – Kyle Kirk, and Kael.

In a previous article, Manilyn Reynes a throwback video clip with the late Julie Vega. She reminisced a scene with Julie in the movie “Dear Mama” that was released back in 1984.

Manilyn Reynes recently impressed the online community with her sign language skills. She shared her video on her Instagram account on Saturday, August 14, 2021.

The 49-year-old actress shared that she learned sign language while taping for her ‘80s drama series “Heredero.” She recalled that she was just 12 years old when she met a family that communicates using sign language.

“When I was 12, habang nagti-taping ako ng “Heredero”, may nakilala po akong family na ang paraan ng pagko-communicate ay sa pamamagitan ng sign language. They became my friends. Dinadalaw nila ako tuwing taping, at tinuturuan. Masaya po kaming nag-u-usap at ina-apply ko ang mga itinuro nila sa akin…”

“Para sa ating friends na sa ganito ring paraan nakakapag-communicate, this is for you,” she added.
