JESSY MENDIOLA – Kapamilya actress Jessy Mendiola opens up about past action editing her photos just to look smaller and had this realization.
With the various application being developed now, there’s seemingly nothing else you can’t do with your picture. With the help of various online tools, you can now make yourself a picture of perfection. You can blur the pimple marks, change your eye color, make you look slimmer, and among other things without touching or changing anything in your actual face.
But sometimes, doing this for the sake of vanity and earning positive comments from social media may take a toll on you. At one point, actress Jessy Mendiola admitted to going through past this phase. There was a point in her life that she tried editing her photos just took like the person that she is in the public’s perception. And that time was the time when she got depressed and gained weight.

The actress admitted this in her latest vlog where she did the game of “Never Have I Ever” with her husband Luis Manzano. She tried editing her photos for social media because she was heavily bashed for her body. What was in her mind at that time is that she needs to look perfect for the people. She must not have any fats or any stretchmarks.
However, she also realized that the more she hides her look and appearance, the more people would notice and know her “secret” because she looks different on social media and in person. There’s a higher chance that people would identify that her photos were fake.
“But it turns out, mas nahahalata pa at mas nagmumukhang fake talaga ‘pag nakita ka nila in person or sa videos, tapos magkaiba ‘yung itsura nung videos tsaka nung pictures,” she said.
