BARBIE IMPERIAL – Kapamilya actress Barbie Imperial leaves the romantic comedy series “Pasabuy” and Heaven Peralejo will be replacing her.
ABS-CBN afternoon drama “Bagong Umaga” ended last April and it was the same series that young stars Heaven Peralejo and Barbie Imperial have worked side by side. After that, Barbie was pressed to do a series entitled “Pasabuy” with “Pinoy Big Brother” graduate Gino Roque. This will be directed by actor Xian Lim.
However, producer WeTV announced just recently that Imperial has been pulled out from the project because of some personal reasons. But it further added, “Barbie had already taken part in pre-production activities — including announcements on social media, and the initial script-reading with Gino, Xian and the rest of the cast — when the change was made.”
On the other hand, the talent agency of both young female stars remained mum about the matter. The rom-com series will have 10 parts and the two characters will meet through a “pasabuy” community chatroom. The situation will be during the pandemic and they will find a company in each other.
Other casts who will be joining Roque and Peralejo are Ella Cayabyab, MJ Cayabyab, Ralph Malibunas, and Gail Banawis, Kim Perez, and TikTok star Nana Silayro. Famous OPM rock band I Belong To The Zoo will make an appearance as per the report from ABS-CBN.
Meanwhile, Barbie just turned 23 years old just recently and she received the sweetest message from her boyfriend Diego Loyzaga. His mother Teresa Loyzaga also penned a sweet message for and many people admire how supportive the actress is to their relationship.
