Man Stabbed in Negros Occidental After Refusing Neighbor Inviting for a Drink

NEGROS OCCIDENTAL – A man earned a stab wound after he was stabbed by his neighbor after refusing to have a drink in Silay City in this province.

The stabbing incident occurred at Purok, according to a Radyo Bandera Bacolord report. Brgy. Acacia Boulevard Negros Occidentales, Mambulac, Silay City Jocel Coronel, a 37-year-old married woman who lives in the vicinity, was the victim.

The victim passed by the house of the suspect, Ferlan Pabon, 24-years-old, who had a live-in partner and encouraged the victim to drink, according to Lt. Col Richard Petate, chief of the Silay Police Station. Coronel, on the other hand, refused to drink, according to Petate.

This is when the disagreement that led to Pabon stabbing the victim began, based on the report. According to the authorities, this is now the crime’s presumed motive.

A wound was found under the victim’s right armpit and on the right side of his back. The injured victim is being treated at the hospital right now.

Pabon, who fled the scene soon after the event, is still being sought by police. If a case is filed against the suspect, the victim’s family will have to make a decision.

Meanwhile, two men in Aklan who were having a drinking session stabbed each other after a heated argument erupted about the COVID-19 vaccine. After both of them were stabbed in the body, the comparator’s drink ended up in the hospital.

The two were both inebriated when they argued about the coronavirus vaccine, according to the earlier story. Despite being hurt, the one who opposed was instantly stabbed, while the other was also stabbed by the first.
