Ogie Diaz shared something about Lolit Solis
Comedian-talent manager Ogie Diaz revealed a story behind the “panghaharbat” that veteran entertainment columnist Lolit Solis is doing.
In the showbiz circle, a friendship was formed between Ogie and Lolit and time has become a witness of the happy and sad memories they shared with each other. In a recent vlog of Ogie, he interviewed Lolit and the latter answered questions about her life and the years she spent as a talent manager and as a columnist.
One of the questions that Ogie asked Lolit was about the “panghaharbat”. The comedian explained the term saying that it was an act of asking for money or things. Lolit said that she does not mind having this reputation in showbiz as this is what she projected to the public.
She added that she is not affected by the negative comments being thrown at her because of this. In line with this, Ogie Diaz made revelations about Lolit Solis. He said that the veteran columnist would ask for money from showbiz personalities but she is giving them also to other people. “Hindi niyo alam, pinamimigay din yun sa mga kasama niya. Para kang Robinhood eh,” Ogie said.
Then, Lolit shared what the late Douglas Quijano told her about sharing. “Kung ano natikman mo, patikim mo rin sa iba,” she shared.. During the interview, Lolit Solis also shared that Ogie Diaz was one of the people who were there during the time she was facing the consequences of the MMFF 1994 scandal that she orchestrated.
Ogie went to Lolit when she almost lost her life for taking too many sleeping pills. The veteran columnist also said that Rey Pumaloy, who is also a showbiz reporter, showed support for her during that time.
