Is it true that Ellen Adarna will no longer be part of the âJohn en Ellenâ sitcom?
Rumor has it that Ellen Adarna was terminated in the TV5 sitcom John en Ellen because of her attitude problem.
In the said sitcom, Ellenâs onscreen partner is John Estrada, who is one of the closest friends of her fiancĂ© Derek Ramsay. For her TV comeback, Ellen bagged the lead role in the said sitcom.
However, based on the article in Bandera, the sitcomâs lock-in taping has been delayed for weeks now and the enhanced community quarantine is not the reason for this. It was said that because a new story is being formulated as allegedly, Ellen Adarna will no longer be part of the sitcom.
The alleged reason for this was the attitude problem of the actress that cannot be tolerated anymore by the production team. It was said that the last âattitudeâ thing that Ellen did was when she just went home in the middle of the taping when she was paid for the shoot.
âSinundo raw siya ng fiancĂ© niyang si Derek at maging ang aktor ay kinausap na rin na baka puwedeng mag-stay sandali ang aktres kasi sayang naman kung basta na lang ipa-pack up ang taping kasi nga malaking gastos ito,â entertainment columnist Reggee Bonoan wrote in his Bandera article.
The columnist added that even Derek talked to Ellen to convince her to stay for the shoot but the latter wanted to leave already and she did. Bonoanâs source said that the unreasonable walking away of Ellen was not due to wedding preparations.
âHindi, pasaway siya talaga, sakit siya ng ulo sa buong prod, galit sa kanya actually,â the source of the columnist said. The source added that Ellen Adarna already knew that she was terminated from the show. As of this writing, the actress has not released a statement yet about this matter.
